World Plaza
Manila, Philippines
World Plaza, a 27-story office building located in Fort Bonifacio Global City, was designed to integrate with the surrounding business and hospitality districts at BGC. Developed by Daiichi Properties, the 700,000-square-foot building was completed in 2017. The building includes ground floor retail space, 18 floors of typical office space, a penthouse level, and a mechanical deck floor. The site also includes three levels of basement parking and six levels of podium parking. The building features one of the first offset cores designed in Manila with highly flexible office floors. A unitized, glass-and-aluminum curtain wall system works in concert with other sustainable strategies — including daylighting, natural ventilation, high-efficiency modular VRF mechanical systems, and rainwater and graywater harvesting — allowing it to achieve LEED® Gold certification. World Plaza accommodates a wide range of local tech industry tenants, such as KPO and BPO firms, as well as international corporations like ING.
