The Frisco Retail Center
Frisco, Colorado
The Frisco Retail Center was designed with the intention of honoring the town’s past while catering to the community’s lifestyle and needs today. The architecture pays homage to the town’s mining heritage through its materials and volume — giving a nod to the mining A-frame structures that still dot the surrounding hills, including the historic Niemoth Cabin and the Prestrud Staley House. The buildings open up to mountain views, create public plazas, and encourage community gathering. The result is a space that pays tribute to the fabric of the town over the years while creating a modern, pedestrian-friendly destination where neighbors can gather and take in the scenery.
