Thanksgiving Tower Repositioning

Dallas, Texas

Thanksgiving Tower is an iconic, Class-A office tower prominently located in the heart of downtown Dallas. In collaboration with James Carpenter Design Associates, the renovation of this 50-story tower centers on enhancing retail accessibility and providing better pedestrian connections.

Woods Capital acquired Thanksgiving Tower with low occupancy rates and following the announcement that an existing major tenant was leaving. After marketing the renovation plans in store for the property, Thanksgiving Tower ultimately landed one of the largest tenants to announce a move to downtown Dallas in 2014.

Renovations include a new plaza, lobby and ground-floor curtain-wall renovation, with the goal to open up the pedestrian thoroughfare. A future fitness center and restaurant amenities have also been planned.
