Part product showcase, part workplace, this tech client’s new Canadian headquarters features a series of curated vignettes that elevate both the customer and employee experience. Visitors are welcomed in a reception area that provides maximum visual impact with a grand feature stair and a view of the technology firm’s powerful server room. Designed to be integrated into the sales experience, employees can remotely open the garage door to the server room and deliver an immediate sensory effect with a blast of cold air and the hum of whirring computers. The feature stair, clad in a reflective screen that changes based on the viewer’s angle and the sun’s positioning, leads to a second-floor cafe that can flex to accommodate everything from town halls to client meetings. Beyond the cafe is an open work plan with workstations, training spaces, formal board rooms, and informal areas for collaboration.
