Streamlining The Move Management Process

A global data processing company was experiencing a 62% move churn rate, meaning over half of its occupants were shuffling desks each year. With a portfolio of approximately 160 buildings and 40,000+ occupants, it was a struggle to maintain accurate occupancy data. To streamline the move management process, Gensler advised that governance roles be assigned within the portfolio structure and a consistent workflow be rolled out across the company. As a longtime Wisp client, the improved workflow leverages automated features in Wisp, allowing admins to submit requests and site coordinators to review and approve them. When the site coordinator completes the move, a current inventory of people and space data is maintained. These improvements have eliminated dual entry of move requests and streamlined communication.
