Steven Shinn, FAIA, LEED Fellow, WELL AP

As a Sustainability Director at Gensler, Steven focuses on design excellence, sustainability, and personal service for projects that promote social, cultural, and educational advancement. Steven is an architect with over 30 years of experience in all phases of management, from master planning to construction administration, on workplace, civic and institutional projects. As an active board member for the San Diego Green Building Council, Past AIA President, and volunteer educator for NewSchool of Architecture & Design, Steven has developed strong relationships within the communities he serves. Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Masters of Architecture from the University of Virginia.
