Shintora-Dori Core, a new mixed-use building, opened in an evolving area in Tokyo, Toranomon. The building is a new symbol of the local community and offers both standard offices and incubation offices with new technologies, as well as restaurants. Gensler took part in the art curation of a massive mural to enhance the narrative environment. The mural, Perfect/Imperfection was created by a Japanese art unit, Hitotzuki, on a massive wall of the cafe space. The art was painted live over the course of three weeks while space was open to the public, establishing an experiential moment of creativity and next-gen business collaboration.

東京の新たなシンボルストリートとして注目される新虎通りにオープンした、複合施設「新虎通りCORE」。街の賑わいと交流を創出する拠点として、最新スペックのオフィス、600 ㎡ 超のインキュベーションオフィス、レストランが入居する。ゲンスラーは、その施設に誕生したカフェ・ダイニングと大型イベントスペースが融合したクリエイターズ・ハブ「ザ コア キッチン/ スペース」の、巨大な壁画アート（ミューラル）のアートキュレーションを担当し、エクスペリエンスデザインという観点から、地域の新たなランドマークとしての活気ある環境創りをサポートした。

大空間の壁面をキャンバスに、日本を代表するストリートアートユニット「HITOTZUKI（ヒトツキ）」が完成させた高さ4.5 ｍ、幅14.3m の作品のタイトルは『PERFECT/Imperfection』。営業中のスペースで、3 週間にわたって公開制作を行うという異例な手法をとり、新虎エリアという起業精神があふれる街の中でビジネスとアートがコラボレートする「瞬間」を体験できる空間が完成した。
