Northwestern Medicine — Lake Forest Hospital

A longstanding symbol of world-class medicine, Northwestern Medicine (NM) turned to Gensler, in collaboration with Pelli Clark Pelli Architects and HDR, to complete the design of its new state-of-the-art, 500,000-square-foot hospital. Located north of Chicago, Lake Forest Hospital is a critical care replacement facility, providing a full range of services including cancer care, behavioral health, neurosciences, laboratory services, maternity, surgical, emergency, intervention, and outpatient specialty clinical services. The healthcare design team leveraged the natural surroundings help to create a calm and healing environment for patients and staff alike.
