LACMA Administrative Offices

A workplace that feels more like an art gallery, LACMA’s new administrative offices eschew hierarchical divisions in favor of sun-splashed collaborative areas. Two highrise floors overlooking the museum campus were merged to create a headquarters appropriate for a major cultural institution. Within a limited budget, Gensler created a straightforward but sophisticated series of open work areas, individual offices, executive facilities and meeting rooms, all situated around a new connecting stair that encourages informal interactions.
