Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

This Miami transplant fills a massive space within the former Union Trust Bank building in the heart of the nation’s capital. The design plays off the building’s classical features—cornices, moldings and multi-storied arched windows—enhancing and elevating them to create a dramatic space for dining and for spectacle. The voluminous main dining room features warm woods, elegant wrought-iron chandeliers and towering marble columns. Semi-private corner booths and a variety of alluring private-dining areas are also offered, along with three bars. The resulting restaurant conveys elegance and sophistication, appropriate for the power-brokering often conducted here.
