Ian Mulcahey

Ian is a global leader of Gensler’s Cities & Urban Design practice. He is passionate about solving complex urban problems with a particular expertise in the integration of infrastructure with urban growth and regeneration. Ian oversees projects across the U.K., Europe, Middle East, and Africa, bringing a deep understanding of the various political, commercial, and social drivers that influence planning delivery. A regular speaker and panelist both in the U.K. and at global property conferences, Ian is often called upon to help define the future direction of urban growth and transformation. He studied at the University of Westminster, earning a Diploma in Urban Planning Implementation and B.A. (Hons) in Urban Planning Studies.
