First Central Tower Repositioning

Gensler updated the early 1980s lobby and exterior plaza of First Central Tower to create a contemporary sequence of spaces that qualify the property as a Class-A office building. The simple palette of large-format materials exudes a sense of both austerity and luxury. As part of the renovation, the building’s elevator lobbies were reconfigured and updated with new lighting, finishes, reception desk and seating, while the mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems of the elevators themselves were upgraded. The enhanced entry and storefront for the tower’s anchor tenant also greatly improve the site's street-level visibility and presence.
