eleven50

Seattle, Washington

Gensler’s design was driven from the inside-out at eleven50, a 430,000-gross-square-foot life sciences building at 1150 Eastlake Avenue East in Seattle. Architecturally expressed amenities not only serve the building tenants but are also accessible to the buildings across the larger Eastlake campus. Woven throughout, amenities are geared toward attracting and retaining talent and incorporate wellness, conferencing, third spaces to work, eateries, event spaces, and a speakeasy.

The Gensler Seattle design team creatively transformed challenges into opportunities — situated next to a highway, the location influenced the placement of amenities, converting that area into the most desirable shared space while fulfilling the city’s scenic view corridor requirement. The office building’s offset core allows for maximum space planning flexibility, space optimization that benefits from the best lake views, and serves to block highway sound. This building is targeting LEED Gold and Fitwel, and it is also WELL-ready.
