American Multinational Energy Corporation
San Ramon, California
In consolidating workers from two buildings to one, this energy firm gained a dynamic work environment that encourages the exchange of ideas, creates a strong sense of community and embraces the emerging shifts in the way people work. The space better balances private offices with open workstations, and a new “Towncenter” and revitalized courtyard visible from inside the building provide popular venues for staff gatherings. In addition, the project achieved high levels of construction waste diversion, water reduction and lighting power reduction. Since move-in, 60 percent of workers have reported the building’s positive impact on their job performance.
