3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation

To help visualize and communicate the benefits of 3M’s new window film product, Thinsulate, Gensler created a series of marketing videos to appeal to the product’s three distinct markets. In developing the live-action videos, the design team created and refined storyboards and scripts, selected sites, auditioned actors and provided art direction for the filming. During editing and post-production, hand-drawn animations were added, integrated into green-screen backgrounds to interact seemingly with the spots’ actors. The resulting family of videos cleverly and compellingly conveys the product’s features and benefits.
